AMTA is seeking nominations for the 2025 member awards

January 31, 2026 08:05 PM

Nominate a music therapy colleague and recognize the important work they do.

AMTA is pleased to announce a return to the member recognition program. The purpose of the program is to honor music therapists and advocates for their long-term efforts towards the development and growth of the profession of music therapy. The awards acknowledge individuals who have made significant contributions to the American Music Therapy Association, Inc. (as well as the former AAMT and NAMT associations) through education, service, clinical practice, and/or research.

We are currently seeking nominations for the 2025 membership awards. Later in the year, we will be soliciting nominees for 2026. All but one award, Advocate of Music Therapy, requires membership in AMTA.

Download the guidelines and award information.

Submit a nomination.
