AMTA Nominating Committee Update

The AMTA Nominating Committee, chaired by Immediate Past President Mary Ellen Wylie, worked this fall to identify potential candidates for the offices of AMTA President Elect and Vice President Elect.  The slate was approved in November by the AMTA Board of Directors and presented at the AMTA Business meetings during the annual conference. There were no other nominations from the floor during the Business meeting.

Prior to the election in late 2015 members will have opportunities to meet, read about, and/or pose questions for the candidates.  Officers elected by the professional membership will begin serving in January 2016. In the future, information about the election process or the candidates will be announced in Music Therapy ENews (to learn how to sign up for ENews, please see http://www.musictherapy.org/about/listserv/).
