Celebrating 75 Years of Music Therapy: Opening the 2000 Time Capsule.

On Tuesday, September 16, 3:30-4:30 PM EDT/UTC-4 join us live in Celebrating 75 Years of Music Therapy: Opening the 2000 Time Capsule. While music therapy has deep roots reaching back before 1950, this year marks 75 years since the founding of AMTA’s predecessor organizations, which laid the groundwork for the unified association we know today.

To honor this legacy, Drs. Lindsey Wilhelm and Bill Davis, current and former archivists for AMTA, invite you to join them in opening the AMTA Time Capsule, sealed in 2000 in this live session. Archival treasures and stories will be unveiled that reflect our shared journey.
