In observance of Juneteenth

June 19, 2026 05:00 PM
Juneteenth-Smithsonian-1

In observance of Juneteenth, we recognize both the progress represented by emancipation and the challenges that continue to this day working towards equity and justice both in the world at large and in our community.  As this day comes to a close, we invite you to engage with resources that explore the many different facets of Juneteenth, now and moving forward. Visit the National Museum of African American History & Culture Juneteenth Resources.

On Juneteenth, we honor the past, celebrate resilience, and encourage continued learning and reflection.
