Music therapists Tara Brinkman and Steven Franco work at Department of State Hospitals - Atascadero, a maximum security forensic hospital. Both therapists work with various groups and individuals in the forensic hospital, but in this podcast they talk about a centralized group called REACH-Music. AMTA continues to work to address issues and concerns around the COVID-19 pandemic and meet regularly with many groups to establish support for all affected. Please use this list of curated resources and information that may be of help to music therapists, business owners, students and faculty for specific issues. Check back often as new information will be added as it becomes available.

Four MT-BCs at Children’s Minnesota Hospitals talk about music therapy groups for patients with medical/surgical, hematology/oncology, diabetes, eating disorder, and other issues. Erinn Frees, Alicia Little, Sarah Woolever, and Kayla Shafer discuss work facilitating groups for all ages including focus groups for tweens, parents, siblings, and even staff.
