Beware of Internet Scams
COVID-19 themed scams – as well as other types of online scams - have skyrocketed. Be wary of online requests for money, gift cards, personal information, to open an attachment, or respond to a healthcare alert, etc. We have received reports of emails asking for money or gift cards which impersonate leaders of AMTA. Always be wary of any online requests. For official AMTA activities, check the AMTA website for verification first via Latest News, or official AMTA social media accounts. AMTA will not send requests for donations of any kind without announcing it officially first on its website or official social media channels. AMTA is not soliciting gift cards for any purpose.
