Arthur Flagler Fultz Research Award

The Arthur Flagler Fultz Research Award is an annual research grant of $20,000. It was first awarded in 1999 by the then newly formed American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) and generously supported by David’s Fund from Tom and Lucy Ott. The Award is designed to encourage, promote, and support research towards evidence-informed music therapy practice.

Applications are now being accepted for the Arthur Flagler Fultz Research Award. These will be accepted by email only and must be received by 11:59 pm Eastern on May 31, 2026, to be considered eligible.
