Meet the Candidates

On October 22nd, AMTA introduced the three candidates for our upcoming elections for the positions of President Elect for two different terms: Leslie Orozco Henry (2024-25), Brian Jantz (2026-27), and for Vice President Elect, Marta Hernández-Candelas (2026-27 term).

Today, we invite you to “meet” them through a recorded video conversation hosted by Lori Gooding, AMTA Past President. Leslie, Brian, and Marta respond to questions and share thoughts about serving AMTA, the profession, and the future of music therapy.

The video is 43 minutes on the AMTA YouTube channel. You may watch in total, which we recommend, and/or view each question with the candidates' responses using the timestamps in the YouTube description.
For written information about the candidates, how they were nominated/selected, and the election process, see AMTA-Candidates.pdf.
