Flexible Online Learning for Music Therapists

AMTA-U was built to support continuing education in a format that works for busy professionals and future music therapists alike. Courses are available online and can be completed asynchronously, giving you the freedom to learn when and where it works best for you.

The primary focus of AMTA-U is continuing education for music therapists. However, anyone may register for a course including professionals in other fields. As part of membership, AMTA members are given complimentary access or receive a member discount on course fees. Become an AMTA Member or an Associate Member (open to non-music therapists) to receive complimentary and discounted access to courses at AMTA-U.

AMTA Symposium

The symposium typically takes place in early fall, with online access available through the end of February. This extended access gives participants the flexibility to engage with valuable content, complete learning on their own schedule, earn continuing education credits, and explore timely topics in the field as part of the AMTA learning experience.

Interested in presenting at the Symposium? The request for speaker proposals is typically announced in March of each year.
