Music Therapist – Havenwyck Hospital

Join our team as a music therapist and Wellness professional, where you’ll help patients heal and grow through meaningful therapeutic experiences in a hospital setting. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary Treatment team, contribute to treatment plans, and develop individualized goals and interventions that support each patient’s unique needs. You’ll conduct assessments, use medical skills and motivational interviewing to guide care, and monitor progress through thoughtful documentation and treatment evaluations. This position also includes supporting crisis intervention, maintaining therapeutic boundaries, facilitating expressive arts groups for children, adolescents, and adults and educating patients on coping skills, recovery, leisure, and community creative resources. You’ll also complete progress notes and discharge plans while supporting inpatient, residential, and/or outpatient programs as needed.
