Proposal submission deadline: April 25, 2022.

We invite you to join us to review presentation proposals for the AMTA 2022 Annual Conference. Each conference presentation proposal goes through an anonymous review process. Reviewers include clinicians, educators, and researchers from all regions of AMTA with a variety of expertise including specializations in research and in diversity, equity and inclusion. Please respond before March 31, 2022.​

Reminder - The last day to access the 2021 conference platform and its sessions will be April 15, 2022. If you have questions about how to get back on the platform please e-mail conference@musictherapy.org. Make sure you print out your certificates for sessions before the deadline!

The AMTA office will close for a winter break December 23, 2021 at 12:00 pm and reopen January 3. 2022. We hope you have a wonderful end of the year we look forward to what 2022 will bring for music therapy!

Please take a moment to learn more about the candidates who are running for President Elect and Vice President Elect. Ballots will be emailed to all voting eligible members on Monday, October 18, 2021. The election will be open for 10 days.
 
The AMTA Board of Directors’ 2021 Annual Meeting will be held virtually on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, 8:00 pm-9:00 pm (EDT). RSVP if you would like to attend by noon, October 5, 2021, Eastern Time.

The American Music Therapy Association is pleased to announce a call for proposals for the 2022 Clinician-Based Grant (CBG). The CBG program supports applied research grants in music therapy with funding up to $5,000.
