The 2024 Workforce Development Analysis Report is now available through the AMTA bookstore. It provides a picture of AMTA membership and the music therapy community. The report is based on the AMTA Member survey data gathered in 2025. The report includes statistics on demographics, employment, and salaries to help describe the music therapy profession.
The 2024 Workforce Development Analysis Report is available to current AMTA members free of charge, as a member benefit. Non-members may purchase the report for $40.00. Instructions are provided below on the easiest way to log in to your account and access the bookstore. If you are currently a undergraduate or graduate student that isn't an AMTA member, please contact Dianne Wawrzusin (wawrzusin@musictherapy.org) for a special discount.
And for the first time ever, AMTA is offering a summary of the Report free of charge to all 2024 Workforce Development Summary
The Workforce Development Committee plans to distribute the next Member Survey later this year. Watch your email and respond to the survey. The more respondents/data received, the better the report. The survey is open to the music therapy community, membership in AMTA is not a requirement for participation.
