The Coalition to Preserve Rehabilitation (CPR), held a congressional briefing entitled, “Protecting the Future of Medicare Rehabilitation.” on Tuesday, November 1st, 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. in the Rayburn House Office Building.
 
Candidates’ Biographical Summaries & Responses to Questions about Elected Positions & the Music Therapy Profession may be found online in the member area. Current 2011 Professional, Retired & Honorary Life AMTA members should be prepared to vote as usual via the US Postal Service. Your ballot will be mailed on November 9, 2011, so expect to see it in your mailbox within a week of that date. Your completed ballot must be postmarked on or before December 12, 2011. No exceptions will be made.

The Combating Autism Reauthorization Act (CARA) of 2011, was signed into law on September 30, 2011 by President Obama. The law authorizes $693 million in continued federal investment over three years for autism research, treatment and services.
