We are pleased to welcome Megumi Azekawa to the JMT Leadership Team!
Megumi joins as the new Associate Editor-Communications for the Journal of Music Therapy. She will be helping to promote journal content through the @AMTAResearch research channels.
Megumi has been a board certified music therapist since 2011. She earned her bachelor’s degree in music performance from the University of Washington, her master’s equivalency from Colorado State University, and recently started at PhD program in Nursing Science at the University of Washington. Her research has been published in Music Therapy Perspectives and she has presented locally, regionally, and nationally.
